This page documents a removed feature. There seem to be no plans to reimplement the item back into the game.
The Revolver was a unique weapon that couldn't be found anywhere in the map and was only obtainable through a trait called "Chekhov's Gunman".
The Revolver utilized an ammo system that correlated with how many rounds the player survived. (Each round the player survived, they would've been given an extra bullet in their Revolver.) The amount of bullets loaded in carried over each round, which meant that a player could have multiple bullets loaded in with a max of six.
When a player used the gun three things would occur: it would emit a very loud noise that can heard throughout the map, it would fire a projectile that could pierce through multiple players and cause them to either be in "Bleedout" mode or to instantly die if shot in the head, and a bullet casing would drop near the place that the Revolver was fired from.
It fired every 0.7 seconds, had a bullet spread of 0.015 degree deviation from the player's crosshair, and the bullets would travel at 200 studs per second.
The Revolver and its trait were eventually removed due to the fact that it was generally overpowered, and that it was extremely buggy; it caused players who were shot to sometimes be in "Bleedout" mode permanently, or crash the server altogether.
